Cannot add shortcodes to page

Hello,
I’m having an experience with Dante where when I click on the shortcodes button, it goes into lightbox mode and provides a message about not having permission. I’ve changed permissions for the /swift-framework/sf-shortcodes/ and contents files were from 755 to 775 but the Swift Framework Shortcodes button continues to return this message:

Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/themes/dante/swift-framework/sf-shortcodes/interface.php on this server.
Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at mwd.manzwebdesigns.net Port 80

I have not attempted to make changes to the .htaccess file.

P.S. I am having a lot of fun working with this theme! Thanks for your hard work.

Please check the permissions on interface.php

They should be 644

Hi Kyle, thanks for the help.

The permissions for the files were set to 755. I found the interface.php file and changed it to 644, but no joy, the interface as viewed in the browser returns that error. What else could I try?

Hi Kyle,
I’m grateful for your help. I’m working with my host right now. It is his website that I implemented your Dante theme. Actions I’d taken caused WordPress to not render. He thinks he can correct it. If not, we’ll start over. I’ll not close this until we know.
