January 20, 2016 at 2:02 pm #242246Hi,
Guess you can’t work with WPRocket because it’s caching all the pages except cart and checkout.
This can cause differences in the header cart that we have in all the pages, because sometimes the plugin is providing and older version of the pages.Yesterday, when the site was down most pages were displaying the cached version. This is ok for a static website but for an dynamic ecommerce site it can be problematic.
Regarding Wp Rocket nothing in the theme is interfering with that.

January 20, 2016 at 3:46 pm #242291Hi Rui, too bad to hear. Would it be possible to use dante with a different cache plugin like W3TC without this problem? I really like to use a caching plugin since my site is very slow..
ThanksJanuary 25, 2016 at 11:47 am #243288Hi,
Please test it, it should be less aggressive than WP Rocket.
Thanks.
January 25, 2016 at 3:37 pm #243411Hi David,
I already have (see the video I posted before) and with it it shows the same issues. It shows the same problems with all caching plugins..
As is understand you are using it on your websites but without the ecommerce cart issue. Could you please have a look why it does not work at my site? Thanks
January 27, 2016 at 1:19 pm #244092Hi,
Please deactivate all plugins so only WooCommerce is active.
Please update the theme version: https://freshfolds.nl/wp-admin/themes.php
Also please update WooCommerce: https://freshfolds.nl/wp-admin/plugins.php
Lastly, activate only W3TC and I will double check the configuration.
Thanks.

First, can you please be sure you have updated the theme version to this version 3.2.3: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oqkxv93ju52kkxq/dante.zip?dl=0. Yours is currently out of date: 2.82.
Thanks.
February 1, 2016 at 7:07 pm #245487Thanks, I have now updated my testsite.
February 4, 2016 at 11:47 am #246348Hi,
You had not done this:
In order for database caching to work with WooCommerce you must add _wc_session_ to the "Ignored Query Strings" option in W3 Total Cache settings
.Please add that (
_wc_session_
) here: http://test.freshfolds.nl/wp-admin/admin.php?page=w3tc_dbcacheThanks.
February 5, 2016 at 10:11 pm #246823Thanks, I have exported your w3settings to my live website (www.freshfolds.nl) and included the string as mentioned. The problem is still there however..
February 7, 2016 at 11:57 am #246904To be honest, I made my Dante based shop blazingly fast on my VPS with Nginx and the built-in fastcgi cache. I know it is ‘slightly’ more advanced than a simple shared hosting(although there are thorough tutorials out there), but I am getting great results using only: WP+Dante, APC and Nginx+fastcgi-cache, nothing else, no annoying W3TC issues(I had these as well, everyone does). Also if you have performance issues due to a lot of http requests, you can use HTTP2 with Nginx which can do a lot of requests in 1 TCP connection through multiplexing.
Just my 2 cents, probably not the answer you wanted to hear.
February 8, 2016 at 8:25 pm #247353I appreciate the help. I am not looking to change my hosting however. Its a simple woocommerce – Dante – cache issue which should be possible to fix since the dante people are using woocommerce & a cache plugin too without the issue.. The cache plugins give me good results, which is not the problem
February 10, 2016 at 11:23 am #247836Hi,
I have tweaked your cache settings, please re-test. I am out of ideas currently on how to assist you further. If you still experience issues, please contact WooCommerce support as they maybe able to offer more advice.
Thanks.
