Caching plugin and DANTE

Hi,

I want to use a caching plugin and have tried three different caching plugins: W3TC, WP super cache and I just purchased WP ROCKET. The problem I have is that once a caching plugin is installed, it also caches the woocommerce cart in my header, which completely ruins the shopping/checkout process. WP Rocket is completely woocommerce compatible.

I have contacted the support of WP ROCKET and they have let me know that it is not an issue of the cache plugin but of my theme. I have tested this myself by deinstalling all other plugins and by switching to a default theme. None of my installed plugins are causing this issue and when I shift to a default theme, with the cache plugin (and all other plugins) active everything works great. So it seems indeed to be a Theme issue.

I really like to use a cache plugin since my site is very slow. so:
-Do you know about issues with DANTE and the woocommerce cart when using a cache plugin?
-Can you please help me solve the problem so that I can use a caching plugin and DANTE at the same time?

We use WP Total Cache and haven’t experienced any issues with the cart, can you try that one?

Did you mean w3totalcache? I tried that one too but it gave me the same problem with the shopping cart..

it is http://www.freshfolds.nl. However the caching plugin is now deactivated otherwise my clients cannot purchase items.

Hi,

When setting up the cache, choose not to use minification of JS and do not combine any JS files. Please setup and active the cache with those new rules and re-test.

I noticed that without these options the card indeed was working in W3TC however still not in WPROCKET. With W3TC my website is still loading in over 9 seconds and is slower then almost all websites out there. Is there any change you can set the W3TC plugin in my dashboard to the same settings as you have for the swiftideas websites?

Hi David,

Again thanks for helping. It turned out w3tc was not completely activated yet, it showed an error in my dashboard. It still shows the same issue when the plugin is activated with your recommended settings.
