    Hey Guys,

I was wondering if you could give me some advise regarding a good Caching plugin.
I now use a VPS for the hosting of our site. I use CloudFlare as CDN and optimize all images that I upload.

I tried W3TC in the past which worked O.K. but now I’m running on PHP7 and heard it didn’t work any more…
I tried out Cache Enabler (a new plugin) which worked quite good but when I returned to the homepage after browsing the site i got Unstyled Content.

Any other plugins you can recommend?

Regarding HTML inlining and CSS&JS minification, if I set this up in a caching plugin it always caused problems with the theme, should I just use it in the Theme Options > Performance? Or any other thoughts?

    Thanks!!
    Joost

    Hi,

CSS & JS minification is allready done within the theme settings. Theme Options => General Options => Performance Options.

Have you tested WP Super Cache + Autoptimize? Both will require some research and time to correctly setup.

    Thanks.

    Hey David,

    Thanks for helping out!
I’ve used the Autoptimize plugin in the past. I re-installed it a few minutes ago and works really well!

Just one quick question; due to javascript minification the hover effect on images at product catalog/overview pages doesn’t work anymore. I can exclude scripts, do you know how the script is called that I need to exclude?

This is excluded by default: https://monosnap.com/file/JEx9CYRGTMuvjB0uHZtwGxNJgWOCIv

    Thanks again,
    Joost

JS minification is already done, do not minify or combine any JS file.

    Thanks.

    Hey David,

    Ok thanks I’ve disabled it.
I have only HTML & CSS enabled. Keep it that way?

    Thanks!

Yes, that is the safest way.
