Button without functionality

I would like to use a button without any functionality ( no link and no anchor ). What character do I need to enter so when you click on a button you have no functionality whatsoever ( just for highlighting a phone number).

In the link of the button just place a wildcard #

Problem with that it acts like an anchor link to the top of the page. I just want a button with literally no functionality at all.

Create a button and add the extra class:

no-function

Then add this to your custom css:

.no-function {
  pointer-events:none;
}
