What is the quickest way to build specific elements as full-width outside of the container? We’ve noticed that all of our content is nicely arranged, but we’d like to have a custom area under our Swift Slider go full-width to match it (it holds some affiliation badges on the site.)

Attached is a screenshot of the WIP page. We want the gray bar to stretch across.

Apologies if this is a more amateur question… still learning the ropes with WordPress themes and how this one is set up!

    Thanks,
    -Erin

You can add a ‘text block full width’ in the page builder to make the section full width 🙂

    Hi Kyle,

Thanks for the response; however, we’re in the process of building a custom div for the gray bar in the photo. When we code it to “width=100%,” the gray bar only stretches as far as the page container will allow.

Are you saying that it’s easier to build this out of a full-width text block than to create a custom element?

Yes, if you use ‘text box full width’ the background will stretch to full width, if you need to make any other changes to css you can create an extra class and add it to the extra class field
