Bug: Information slidedown lagging out

As stated in the subject, when you click the “information”-icon shaped as an envelope in the menu that brings out the information slidedown it lags out. If you have scrolled the page a bit the following happens:
1. You are scrolled to the top
2. The information box slides down
3. The icon stays the same, it doesn’t switch

The problem is that the icon doesn’t switch. This makes the button opposite so if you after the previous steps click the information button it becomes an “X” when the information box is closed when it should be the opposite. See provided screenshots. They are provided in the order: How it is right now and how it should be.

– Have you modified any core theme files, I cannot see your child theme files?

Hi,

I can see you have a child theme but I cannot see the files within it. I need to be sure you are not overwriting any header functions as I cannot initially replicate this.

I am sorry but that’s not possible. The site is in live mode ATM.
