    Hi,

Tried without your custom css but still the same. Only when I activate the parent theme realize that it was different. It seems to be related to your child theme modifications

Ugh!! – It seems when you activated the Parent theme and then reactivated the child theme – ALL of the custom sidebar content became Inactive – losing every single custom sidebar placement we had done.

Ohh nooo. Really sorry about that was trying to figure out the budypress css issue.
Regarding Budypress it seems that you have some modifications in Budypress content in your child theme.

I had a local developer helping with some extra stuff. I just had him remove the “hooks” he had added the pertained to buddypress. We still have the same styling issues though. Should I just turn off the child theme? I haven’t fixed the widgets yet, just in case we went this route. Will going back to the parent theme only become weird with future updates? Any and all styling done has been through the Custom CSS panel – those should stay during theme updates, right? If so, make more sense to just use the Parent theme and call it a day vs. spending hours on fixing things right now. Agree?

Yes I agrre, if the look and feel it’s ok in the parent theme something must be causing that in the child theme.
The custom css of the theme options are stored in the database and don’t disappear in the Theme updates.

OK – child theme is gone. Now just using Parent. Seems some of the BP styling is fixed, but the member profile page is still strange looking: – you’ll have to log in and visit the developer profile – but only if you have info put in will you see the styling issues. Also – the sidebar titles still aren’t showing up.

    It’s been a weird Monday.

The page does look better, thank you. The sidebar widget buddypress titles still don’t show up though. Weird.

is that content from an additional plugin?
Didn’t find that in the Budypress code.

No – it’s just the buddypress widgets that come with the buddypress plugin.

I fixed it yesterday with some CSS. I think it’s all good for now. Thank you.
