    How do I show an empty  breadcrumb  bar (without any text/links or perhaps some custom text in it) on my homepage??

    Hi there,

    That’s not possible as standard, the breadcrumbs bar appears in the top bar if you enable the Breadcrumb NavXT plugin.

    I know and I do want to use the breadcrumbs. By default it doens’t show a breadcrumb on the homepage, but I do want to show an empty bar on my homepage. How to?

    Hey,

    The only way without custom coding a solution, would be to set the breadcrumbs color to the same background color as that bar’s background.

    For example, in our demo, this custom CSS would make the home page breadcrumbs go away:

    .home #breadcrumbs { color: #F7F7F7 !important; }

    If you need to custom code something, the breadcrumbs are defined in header.php, lines 177 to 191.
