Blog Type= mini – not limiting number of items to 1

Keep having issues with the Blog element on the home page (under We’re loving).

It is configured as:
Blog type = mini
Number of items = 1
Blog category = all

This works some of the time BUT, we keep getting inconsistent views where some PCs are showing more than 1 blog items (which them distorts the layout and display of the page.)

Am I not doing it right? How do I limit the blog items to display to ONLY 1?

It display one item always to me as i tested many times. Just check after clear the cache of browser

It displays 1 for me most of the time.

But, the website owner says they have seen it happen on other computers and has asked me to look into it

Likely the pagination, go to the blog settings and make sure pagination is set to none

Edit the page, you will have a blog page builder element on your page, hover over it and click the pen icon on the right hand side. That will bring up the options for the blog
