I am just setting my site up using Cardinal Child theme.

On the home page: http://www.explorewildly.com on each blog post, it says “article” above the title. I see this is the format type for the post. Is it possible to edit these formats or add new ones? If not, is it possible suppress the format type from showing up above the title on the homepage blog post list?

Also, on the blog detail I want the header image to pull from the featured image the way it is, but would like to adjust the crop, is this possible? I’d also like to remove the author from the overlaying text. How would I do this?

Hi,

1. You can add diff post format while adding a new post, in Posts -> Add New here: http://take.ms/dtrRs
2. If you want to edit the way featured image show you can do that here: \swift-framework\content\sf-post-detail.php in the function “sf_post_detail_media”
3. I saw you already remove the author name from the overlays.
