    We are trying to replicate your “blog-masonry with no side bars.” We created a page and we are using the swift page builder to create a blog page. We don’t want a “widget title” or a “show read more link,” and we do want to “show blog aux options” with 9 items on the screen. This is our primary blog page. We set the options exactly how we want them, and yet the “aux options” do not appear and the “read more” does, even when we set those options how we want them. We used the swift page builder and set a “blog” option. None of our titles are showing even when we check the “show page title” box. I set the link to this page so you can see what is going on. Are we following the correct steps? Thank you.

    Hey,

    Checked the page and it looks fine? http://cl.ly/image/2h3C1t422610

    To hide that read more, try this custom CSS in the General theme options:

    .blog-items.masonry-items .read-more { display: none !important; }

    Thank you for your response, but the page is missing the “Title Page” and “Aux Options”. The show page title option and aux options are on and not showing. The eLearningTV Blog page is created as a page. Is that correct, or should the primary blog be created as a post? Please advise, thank you!

    I am assuming this should be simple and maybe I am just overlooking something… I understand posts are created by adding new posts, our problem is getting the “parent page” (eLearningTV Blog) set up, for all the posts to appear under. The static posts page as set from the setting-reading screen is (eLearningTV Blog)(see attached). Don’t we need to create the primary Blog as a page from the create page (tried that) and not the new posts page? What elements or setting are needed to do this? We want the following, exactly as on your live preview to appear as the landing page for the blog page (see attached):

    Masonry with no sidebars
    Title line 1
    Title line 2
    Aux options
    9 posts
    excerpts

    Do we need to use the swift page builder element “blog” and “Text Block” for every post? Any “extra page class” needed to replicate your live preview example?

    Thank you in advance for you help.

    Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

    After creating your posts, you just need to create a page, name it Blog and then add a Blog element with the Page Builder. That’ll make it the “parent” blog page, showing all your posts as set in the Blog element options.
