blog issue

Hi,
i would like to change a few in the blog.

1. how can i removed the “Posted by…” from the page
2. how can adjust the comment&like icon closer to my blog content?
3. i have set the excerpt length to minimum but still show the full content. is it a bug or wrong setting?

Does it display the full content no matter the number you add? Can you try the read more button?
On which version of the theme and WP are you?

yes. i have tried the read more button but doesn’t help. the wordpress theme is 3.9.1 & just updated the latest theme to 1.8.

In your ‘Content Output’ you have chosen full content, you need to change that to excerpt

hi, if i set the content output to excerpt. it will show text only. i need the image display to be where it is right now, except the for the text to be excerpt. please see attached.

Unfortunately that’s not possible, to show content other than text you would need to use full content, the excerpt can only show text. Normally we just use the featured image for the post image
