Hi

On my website I use the blog categories for filtering. On the Homepage I show “Jetzt Aktuell” and in the News section “Vorschau” and “Rückblick”. As a Blog post can be “Jetzt aktuell” and “Vorschau” at the same time, it is now shown on my blog page:

http://maennerchor.wpengine.com/blog/aktuelles/

In the blog settings I have chosen only “Vorschau” and “Rückblick” to show there, but “jetzt aktuell” is shown to. Any chance to hide it?

second question: Is it possible to link directly to a filter: e.g. form the main navigation directly to “Rückblick”-Posts?

1) Jetzt aktuell shows in the filter because news-startseite is on the page on 4 posts.

2) No that is not possible currently.

So there is no way to hide “news-startseite” on the news page? It’s only exists to select the News on the homepage.

You can test this in Theme Options => Custom CSS:

    display: none!important;
}
