Blog excerpt length + read more button

Hi,

I’m wondering why the “read more” button doesn’t appear when you go to a specific Blog category? And how would you control the number of words displayed on the excerpt?

For an example, when you click on Web Technology category (from the Blog menu), the “read more” button doesn’t appear and the excerpt is shorter.

The only reason I’m able to control the excerpt length and have a “read more” button present on the main Blog page is because it was created using the Swift page builder.

Hi

Go to /includes/sf-post-formats.php line 221 (function defaults to read_more = “no”), change to yes. you can also change the excerpt length, it is currently set to 20.
