Blog element filters in Cardinal

Hi,
i need to filter post by category & by tag, and the blog element in Cardinal has only the category options.
In the attachment you can see precisely what i need to do.

This is for a new project and if there were the possibility to customize the blog element i will be able to take it.
If not i would be grateful you can give an alternative way. For example: I red in this forum that DANTE theme have this functionallity.
Can I see it workin?

Unfortunately that customisation is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation.

We only provide support for theme issues, and at times basic customisations. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation.
