    I was wondering if there was a way to make the first item on the 1st blog page (latest blog post) have a longer excerpt length than all the other items.

    I am using the mini blog setting with a thumbnail and excerpt length of 60. I thought it would be nice to feature the latest post by increasing the excerpt length.

    Is there a little CSS trick for that?

    Could I increase the size of the image in the latest blog post but keep all the others as thumbnails?

    Unfortunately that is not part of the current theme functionality, and it’s not within the scope of our support to be able to provide that functionality as it is more work than a small customisation. While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time.
