If you have made direct changes to the theme files, these should have been in a child theme. When you update the theme they will be lost.

    – You would need to ask your host to restore a backup before you ran the update.

    Thanks,
    David.

The plugin WPIDE doesn’t preserve my changes on the site ? They had told here in this forum , that as I could not use the child theme , i could use this plugin and make the changes I wanted.

It would likely change the files in the active theme. If that is not a child theme, the update will update those files to the latest version, overwriting the current for new.

    Thanks,
    David.

Sure, you would need to ask your host to restore a backup before you ran the update or if you have backups restore those.

    Hi,

Have you modified any of the header files or functions or any files inside /woocommerce/?

Please download the latest theme zip file from TF and upload to your server overwriting the current one. (Backup any changes).

    – David.

    Hey,

Sorry, TF == ThemeForest. Get the latest zip file from there and replace your current one.

    Please backup any changes.

    – David.
