    Hello,

i just saw that there is a new update for the neighborhood theme.
I’m using the Child Theme but i also made changes on the Main CSS and some other stuff like functions.php (css adjustments for the woocommerce emails)

Now i’m afraid that if i update the theme something i worked on gets lost.
    Whats the best way?

Is there a guide how to handle the child theme?
Do i have to copy the whole css of the main theme to the child theme?
What about the adjustments on the functions.php and the language files in neighborhood/woocommerce/language (i made a german translation)?

    thanks for your help.

    Hi,
    Please follow given below steps-:
1- Transfer all main css file only changes to child theme main css file.

2- Transfer only extra code and changed code of functions.php to child theme functions.php.

3- You can take a backup of translate file and place after update at language directory.

4- Take a full backup of current theme first.

5- Always make changes through child theme in future.

    Thanks

but there is only a style.css in the child theme folder.

    do i just copy the functions.php into ../themes/neighborhood-child/ ?

    Hi,
Yes, please create a functions.php at child theme and paste only extra code as you made in parent functions.php.
    Thanks

Go to your cPanel, zip the theme folder and download
