Hello
If you will open bbpress forums page here https://www.jkyog.org/forums/ notice its Freshness will say like 1 month old, 2 weeks etc
Then if you will open any specific forum inside like:
https://www.jkyog.org/forums/forum/yoga-meditation-2/
https://www.jkyog.org/forums/forum/bhakti-yoga/Then inside Freshness is like 12 hours, 4 hours, etc
Even though i know its not your work to fully offer support for bbpress plugin but can you give an hit or idea why its displaying wrong Freshness outside and correct inside, sometimes when users are positing non stop then it gets corrected itself but then again few hours later its changed to wrong Freshness..
It also changes to wrong Freshness when lets say i have deleted any spam post then it will be changed to some random Freshness rather then most last/recent post
Can you provide any help on this problem?
Thanks.

Try to activate the default WordPress theme and test again so we can compare the results of them.

April 26, 2015 at 8:13 pm #168776Hello Rui
Its difficult to switch to default theme as its all live and people are posting everyday let me try to explain you bit maybe you can provide some solution without theme switch:
Users keeping posting replies everyday for example lets say 10 users posted replay and Freshness will display updated then lets say last user means 10th user comment is spam so from back admin panel i go and deleted his replay now what will happen is because 10th user replay is deleted then 9th user replay should show as most recent Freshness as his comment is last but that will not happen rather it will take some random replay and sets Freshness to 1 month or something old while inside topics will show date updated and good..!!
So with this is there any hit or idea you can give what is making problem or solution? something in database or any other area where we can try and check?
Thanks.
April 26, 2015 at 10:56 pm #168806Hi,
I understand the site is live but is crucial to do this test to identify if that’s a problem in our theme or not.
Plugins can also affect the order of querys so it’s also important to make a test with Cardinal active, by disabling all plugins except BbPress.
It’s something that can be made in less than 5 minutes, and you can activate maintenance mode and do it in the time when usual there are fewer visitors.

-RuiJuly 29, 2015 at 7:40 pm #199104Hello, Is there any update on this?
July 30, 2015 at 11:26 am #199284Hi,
Apologize for the delay, I assigned it to me to check it and it didn’t appeared in my topics list(only appeared when you replied)
In this one I can see that timestamp always the same, definitely needs to be fixed.
https://www.jkyog.org/forums/topic/how-to-practice-humility/Just can’t replicate the other situation of the Freshness. Can you send me a couple screenshots? Include the url in the screenshots so I can see it.
Is it possible to have ftp access to this test server so we can use to fix the problem? Without it we would have to recreate this situation what can take much more time.
Thanks

Q1) and Q2) Can you disable all of your caching plugins whilst we investigate this? These can often be the root cause of this issue. Please report back when done so we can investigate. I also notice your theme is very out of date, there are updates available should you wish to use them.
Q3) If this persists when you change themes, the issues is with bbpress, not Cardinal. You should contact their support: https://bbpress.org/forums/
Thanks,

Regarding the topics with the same date/time can you check again in the development server?
If it’s fine you can copy the file loop-single-reply.php located in Cardinal/BBpress/ to the live server production.-Rui
