    How comes the “new” “sale” badges do not appear on mobile responsive mode?

    That is because they cover up a lot of the image on smaller screens. If you want to enable them, just add the following to the custom css box within theme options:

    .woocommerce span.onsale, .woocommerce .wc-new-badge, .woocommerce .out-of-stock-badge {
	display: block!important;
}
