    Is it possible to automatically generate excerpts from the blog post text (using the excerpt length)?

    It doesn’t seem to work on my side. I have all the options in Blog selected as Yes and Content Output Excerpt. All I see is the title of the post (there is no auto generated except, only expert if I paste in text).

    I mean that i am not able to edit files of themes at Admin -> Appearance -> Theme Editor . Hope you will understand .

    Hi,

    I’m trying to do the same thing in Flexform, can you help?

    I want the text to be taken form the main post content so I don’t have to copy and paste text into the custom excerpt box.

    I use the following settings:

    Show item excerpt: Yes
    Excerpt Length: 75
    Content Output: Excerpt

    Automatic excerpt generation doesn’t work if you use the page builder. You always need to copy paste the text in the excerpt section.
