Hey SwiftTeam Peoples!
When defining variable product images (Products > Edit Product > Variations > image), the resulting image is 547px x 547px HOWEVER, even though the source image (and I’ve tried many sizes) is 547px x 547px, it gets resized to 300px x 300px then resized to 547px x 547px which pixelates it.
How come that is, and how can it be corrected to use the specified image size?
You can see what I mean at http://mobiusbraces.wpengine.com/store/x8-knee-brace/ then specify a Size (large, etc), and click on a color swatch. The Product Featured image is fine, but when it calls the variable product images REGARDLESS of the source file size, it calls an auto-generated 300px x 300px and resizes it to 547px x 547px – terrible!
Any, um, “swift” ideas? 😉
