Hi there. I need to display products for a specific category only on this page (a designer) and am trying to do this by using the swift page builder ‘product’ element. Using one of the existing assets is not applicable, as I need to show the whole range from that designer (not just featured or on sale etc). If I choose ‘categories’ I get a product feed of all the categories and cannot narrow it down to just one. Can you please advise.

    Hi

You should be able to select the category you want to use in the products asset

    Hi,

I have the same issue. I want to display the products themselves from a category with “product” in the swift page builder. I think what it does right now is that is shows the thumbnail of the specific category and not the product it contains.

    Any idea?

Hi Kyle, thanks for your quick response.

I guess I found a way to make it work. I chose Best sellers in the asset type and specified the category that I wanted. Now it works. Also, In my case, I wanted to display 18 products overall. If you set the page builder “product” element to display as much as you want (in my case 18), then the first products are going to be the best sellers, than all the other ones will follow.

I guess one of the problem seems to be some sort of lag in between when you makes changes and when they appear on the site.

For instance, I always work on the site with Safari but I’ll check the updates I made on on Chrome, so I can empty the cache (in Chrome) without being disconnected from wordpress dashboard (which I’m logged to in Safari).
