HI again,
I’ve noticed that the arrows inside the theme are inversed. How could I fix that? Is that a bug?
I think this is a problem for the navigation.
Thanks again.
May 3, 2013 at 3:18 pm #3816Hi there,
Can you provide a link to check this?

May 6, 2013 at 6:05 pm #4088Hi,
This is a link to check the arrows issue: http://harfang-decoration.com/?portfolio=paris-11eme
I want them to follow the right order of my projects.
Thanks.
May 7, 2013 at 11:53 pm #4226Have you used any plugins to re-order your items? This isn’t how it should be as standard.
– Ed
May 8, 2013 at 4:34 pm #4303Okay, you were right. I disabled some re-order item plugin, and now it’s cool.
Thanks Ed
November 11, 2015 at 6:21 pm #227975I too am experiencing arrow issues. They are facing the incorrect way on this website http://staffordgardenangels.co.uk/?portfolio=mediterranean. I’ve deactivated unused plugins yet the problem still persists, can you please explain how I can rectify the issue.

Can you try to deactivate all plugins(not just the unused)?

November 12, 2015 at 4:46 pm #228300But I need the plugins.
November 12, 2015 at 4:50 pm #228301I know but we must determine first what is causing it. Disable them all, test if that still happens and if it doesn’t happen anymore, you should activate the plugins one by one to figure out the problematic one.

November 12, 2015 at 6:19 pm #228341Hi Rui
http://staffordgardenangels.co.uk/?portfolio=mediterranean
I’ve disabled all the Plugins and still the arrows are not working correctly.
Please can you suggest another fix?
November 12, 2015 at 6:51 pm #228349Just realized that it happens because there are no more Portfolio items to show after that one.
If you look at the previous portfolio item you will see that it has 3 arrows.http://staffordgardenangels.co.uk/?portfolio=hero-garden-design
Guess everything is fine.

November 12, 2015 at 11:57 pm #228442Hi Rui
I don’t think you are quite understanding what the problem is here – let me try again to get my point across.
How I would envisage arrows to work, would be – right facing arrow means go forward, left arrow means go backwards. The Punch theme works in the very same way. The Sazzi portfolio item is the first and the only way to go is forwards using the right arrow.
For some strange reason my clients website has the arrows operating in the opposite way and I need to correct this. My first portfolio item is Mediterranean Inspired and you would expect to press the right arrow to see the next portfolio item, but the website is acting incorrectly and the left facing arrow is the link to see the next portfolio item.
I hope my explanation has helped explain the issue and I look forward to hearing from you.
November 13, 2015 at 4:39 pm #228651Hi,
The left arrow is indeed going to the prev item and and right arrow to the next.
Can you add a WP login so I can take a look at how the portfolio items are ordered?
– David.

Please view your portfolio order here: http://staffordgardenangels.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=portfolio.
The first item is: Gravel Garden, the right arrow for that portfolio item correct goes forward to the next portfolio item Colourful verge planting and so on.
I think the confusion exists because the portfolio page output is in reverse to the admin screen order, Ie DSC vs ASC ordering.
If you open the file
punch/includes/sf-functions.php:
locate line 157'posts_per_page' => $item_count
and change that to this:'posts_per_page' => $item_count, 'order' => 'ASC'
Thanks,
David. -
