Archive for Jobs tags not displaying results

I’m having a problem with the ‘Tag’ archives for the custom post types (jobs, portfolio, team etc). When you go to the archive page to view the list, for example if you click on one of the tags on the single job page, it just comes up with ‘Sorry, there are no posts to display’.
This also happens if I use the link from the tag list in the admin area.

Everything works fine for the tags assigned to normal blog posts, so I’m thinking it might be the way the archive page runs the query.

Can you advise on how to get this working, or have a look at it for me?

Can you try this solution? http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/add-custom-post-types-to-tags-and-categories-in-wordpress/ also make sure you are on the latest version, I also forward this thread to the developer to show some insights.

thanks for that, the solution that Laranz gave worked a treat. I didn’t realise that WordPress excludes custom post types from reults by default, so thanks for that info.

This amendment will work fine until you next update the theme.
