Hi there
Firstly, thanks for the awesome theme! We’ve pretty much been able to get it to do everything we need, but there’s one rather strange ghost in the shell…
If you look at either http://ampersanddesign.com.au/ji/about-3/
or http://ampersanddesign.com.au/ji/services/ you’ll see that the left hand side bar has links to anchors in various locations of the page which all work fine once you’re actually in the page, however these same anchors are also linked into the drop down menus under About and Services and when you try to go to an anchor using the drop down menu while you are NOT on that page, it skips to an incorrect location, although once you are ON the page, both side menu and drop down menu take you to the correct location.
Why oh why, does it jump to an incorrect location when a drop down menu anchor is selected when you are not on that page…?
Just to Illustrate what I mean, let’s say I’m on the partners page, but then want to select Program evaluation anchor on the Services page (see snapshot), it takes me to the Services page yes, but not to the Program evaluation anchor… (see second snapshot)
If you could shed light on why and how to fix, that would be awesome! ๐

Could you let me know if this is beyond the scope of what you can give me help/advice with or if you’re just a bit snowed under with responses at the moment and have yet to get to this one.
Thanks so much! ๐

May 29, 2015 at 6:05 am #179388Hi,
Have you inserted full links instead of #link like http://www.example.com/your_page/#link.
Thanks
MohammadMay 29, 2015 at 7:15 am #179426Hi Mohammad
Thanks for your response. I DO have full link instead of just # eg ?page_id=16#program-design and even if I change that to http://www.ampersanddesign.com.au/ji/services/#program-design it’s still the same problem in that it jumps to the wrong location if I go to it from any other page other than the Services page…
So that’s not it… ๐
May 29, 2015 at 9:17 am #179468Hi,
You have changed the permalink so links seems fine to me.
Thanks
MohammadMay 30, 2015 at 1:33 am #179840Yes the permalinks are fine. That’s not the problem. The problem is the location the permalinks are going to are not what they have been set to.
Could you maybe get Kyle to have a look at this as he may understand the question better.
Thanks Mohammed

Do let me know if this is something that’s just something nobody can help with just so I can stop waiting for an answer and just move on to trying to find a different solution.
Thanks! ๐

June 5, 2015 at 11:00 am #181738Hi
Your links in the menu still use ?pageid can you change them to use the new permalinks, just to check if that changes anything

June 5, 2015 at 11:51 am #181758Hi Kyle
You mean changing from ?page_id=16
to http://ampersanddesign.com.au/ji/services/
?
I tried this for Services/program monitoring and no, it doesn’t make any difference ๐
June 7, 2015 at 12:28 pm #182062Hi,
In this page
http://ampersanddesign.com.au/ji/services/When I press the left links they position in the right place of the page.
Not sure if that is your current issue.-Rui
June 7, 2015 at 1:45 pm #182079Yes, as I described, when you are IN the page, the links go to the correct location, but when you are on any other page and you try to go to any of the anchors using the drop down menus under Services or About, it takes you to the WRONG location.
June 8, 2015 at 2:31 pm #182424Hi,
Can see where you added the Id’s of the sections.
You should have it in the spacers but it’s empty.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kv1lrg2a6myp9qt/blank_spacer.png?dl=0Where did you placed the ids for program-evaluation, program-monitoring, etc ?
