I am getting a PHP fatal error when in the admin I try and load the Posts. This is on a production site without much additional content apart from your demo content. All other pages etc load fine and the posts are viewable from the frontend.

Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 83 bytes) in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1977, referer: http://xxxx/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

I have increased the memory limit in PHP to 2056M and still gives an error. This is on my own server with 16GB RAM.

    Hi @applejack

There is likely something wrong with a specific post – that is causing a memory leak. You may want to try removing some posts via phpmyadmin, or contacting your host to see if they can narrow down the cause. This isn’t a theme issue.

The only posts which are in there are from your demo content. I noticed in the portfolios for some of the them there were lots of thumbnails which seemed odd so you may wish to check out your demo content importer.

So if editing the DB can I just delete certain rows in the post table ?

    Hi,

That’s very strange try to rename temporarily you plugins directory, this way it will disable all plugins that can causing this(or not)

    rename from wp-content/plugins to wp-content/plugins2

You can do the same with the themes directory.

    Let us know the result.

I removed so of your posts in the DB and now it works. It was either the Page Builder or Quote post which was causing the issue.

Ok I will. I suspect it is to do with the import of page builder posts etc as it seemed to be a unnecessarily large amount of data imported for each post using it.
