After Theme update site layout crashed – centered text stays as right aligned
it is with all swift builder boxes centered text changed to right aligned and can´t be changed back to centered. This crashed the site layout completely, please fix is asap.
June 11, 2017 at 3:15 pm #327991We have a very similar widespread issue. Since the update, numerous layout issues have appeared that cannot be changed back – we can save changes and things initially seem OK when we view page. When we change something else in the editor, everything reverts:
In modals:
– button position/alignment now wrong
– can’t create new paragraphs
– dividers not displaying
– bold text impossibleIn text boxes:
– header text is made into paragraph text
– text doesn’t retain changes to text colour
– can’t have new paragraphsGoogle maps:
– not displaying sometimesThese changes seem to behave slightly haphazardly, but we’re still trying to understand the extent and nature of them. There may be other things we haven’t realised yet.
We are also having the same issue as other mentioned in recent hours of the Swift Page Builder not loading or only loading haphazardly or saying there is no content.
What’s going on?!
Thanks!
June 11, 2017 at 10:57 pm #328016I am experiencing all of the same effects above.
June 12, 2017 at 10:32 am #328069Hi,
WP 4.8 has caused this, which is now identified as two separate issues.
1) Content disappearing within the PB – resolved.
2) Formatting being stripped. – Working on a fix currently.
Thanks.

June 12, 2017 at 10:36 am #328074Hi,

June 13, 2017 at 11:28 am #328380Thanks guys, I’m sure you are working hard to fix this. Much appreciated.
June 13, 2017 at 11:57 am #328394Hi,
We will release the update in a few hours to fix this.
If you want it sooner, delete the current Theme and install this one. Don’t worry all the theme options are stored in the database so you won’t lose it.

Don’t forget to clear the browser cache.
Thanks

June 14, 2017 at 10:32 am #328634When is the new Dante theme being released?
You said it will be released in a few hours, that was yesterday, yet still no update available.
I can’t upload new content because as soon as I press save, all the text formatting disappears.
Please can you confirm when we can expect the new release which will solve the formatting issue?
June 14, 2017 at 10:57 am #328652I deleted the dysfunctional DANTE theme and installed Dante 4.8 as a ZIP (https://www.dropbox.com/s/jf6eztm2wco3w5s/Dante_WP_4_8.zip?dl=0), now the Dante Child Theme Version: 1.0 disappeared. So my layout stays still messed up.
Please advice how to avoid such effects
June 14, 2017 at 11:05 am #328660A re-installation of dante-child.zip from the main download folder failed. Child-theme does not show up under themes and can not be activated.
June 14, 2017 at 2:45 pm #328745Hi,
We are releasing an update in the next hours to fix this.
If you want to try it sooner, install the theme in the link below but first delete the current one. The theme options are saved in the database so don’t worry with the data.https://www.dropbox.com/s/7gf1xate96yqk9c/Dante_48_fix.zip?dl=0

June 15, 2017 at 11:37 am #328914You haven´t released an update in the last 5 DAYS!!!! That is ridiculous. Please explain, what the problem is why you can´t fix your theme?
June 16, 2017 at 10:59 pm #329074Hi @music2biz
The update was released via auto-update on the 14th, and we awaited approval from ThemeForest for the download, which was available yesterday. Updates take time to thoroughly test, we always appreciate your patience and checking before you update.
Thanks,
– Ed
