I’m having all sorts of strange issues after I migrated site to replace the website with new information.
I used Backup Buddy to move the clients website to a testing/development server so the client could make some changes to the site.
After the client made changes to the site on a development area and it was approved to replace the old site (Dante but older info on site) I use Backup Buddy to migrate site to server (The old site (WP FILES) I hid in a folder in case I needed to fall back to it) the migration (I thought went smoothly. The client was asked to inspect the updated site to make sure it looks like the testing / development site.
This testing site and the look and feel they are WANTING is located at: http://www.webpagesis.com/2016
This is the site I migrated over to http://www.imageset.com
Several things went wrong after the site was compared to the approved testing/production site.
For instance:
Home page slider:
Correct:
http://webpagesis.com/2016/
Not correct:
http://imageset.com/
Issues not making it correct: Slider is smaller than it is suppose to be, yet settings are the same as the correct version.
All pages have Titles/Headlines now
Correct:
http://webpagesis.com/2016/
http://webpagesis.com/2016/printing/
http://webpagesis.com/2016/signage/
http://webpagesis.com/2016/graphic-design/
What makes all the pages in this testing site correct is that non of them have the headline/title of the pages.
Not correct:
http://imageset.com/
http://imageset.com/printing/
http://imageset.com/graphic-design/
What makes all the pages on this now live site is that all pages are showing the Title of the page even though the settings in the Admin are the same from wwww.webpagesis.com/2016 as they are in http://www.imageset.com
Next issue:
About page Team Members not in columns
What is correct:
http://webpagesis.com/2016/about-us/
All of the team members are set up correctly on page
What is not correct:
http://imageset.com/about-us/
All team members are not side by side but they are stacked vertically????
Please see detailed screen captures to see issues.
PLEASE assist ASAP
Thank you in advance
