    Badges do appear when the page is loaded for a fraction of a second, but they disappear right away.

    Please add the code bellow to your theme custom css options.

    
.standard-browser ul.products li.product figure.product-transition-fade > a > .product-image.second-image {
z-index: 0!important;}

.standard-browser ul.products li.product figure.product-transition-fade > a > .product-image:first-child {
z-index: 1!important;}

    Let us know if it worked.
