    He Swift Ideas team,

I use the theme to create an affiliate shop. It would be cool, if the merchant’s page pop up in a new tab/window when I click on buy product (and not in the same window). What do I have to change in the code?

    Here the example URL: http://goodtimesshop.de/shop/snowwear-the-north-face-men/dubs-insulated-jacket/

Many thanks for your help in advance!

    Hi there,

Unfortunately that customisation is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation. We only provide support for theme issues, and at times basic customisations.

While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation: http://www.swiftideas.com/customization/

    – David.

    Hi David,

many thanks for your response. Is it not possible to add a simple code here woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart?

    Hi Mohammad,

I would like to link my users to the external product website of my affiliate partner shop, when they click on the image or the button “Mehr dazu” here: http://goodtimesshop.de/produkt-kategorie/spy-goggles/

I already use this plugin (the pro version). It works to link my users to the external URL (opening in a new) when they click on “Buy” on the single product page. There is also an option to direct users from the category page to the external website, but it seems that this function is blocked by the theme itself.

So you don’t have any experiences why the theme could block this plugin function?

    Hi,

Nothing in the theme should be altering that, could you list the steps to recreate the bug you have including URL’s.

You would likely need to ask the plugin dev’s to assist you.

    Cheers

As you can see in the screenshot I made the settings that should force the link to the external website from the category page. The developer of the plugin says, this problem is related to the theme.

    Hi,

It looks like you would need to modify the /woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/ add to cart files. However I would not be aware of what the plugin requires to be fully integrated with the theme. You would need to hire a developer to perform an integration like this.

Have you tested this with Twenty15?
