    Hi,

I was wondering if you had any advice regarding the broadening of the WooCommerce search terms? I would like to include tags and categories but as I have found out, it is not supported by Atelier. Do you perhaps know of any WordPress plugins that can do this out of the box or with little modification? I have already tried Relevanssi but that only uses the default WordPress search. I need an option that allows live Ajax search so it has to integrate beautifully with Atelier.

    Thanks!

Relevanssi is the only plugin I’d recommend.

Though, this is not a plugin that is a simple plugin and play job, it does require reading and a little code modification via a child theme to setup.

The AJAX search that comes with Atelier would not be something that a plugin could hook into as such, to do this you would require a developer to perform this.

    Thanks.

    Hi David,

Thanks for the quick reply. If I find a dev who can assist me with this, do you think it’s possible to use the Atelier Ajax search as a base or would that too need to be written from scratch?

    Hi,

No problem, I think it would require a bit of modification. However, Relevanssi does seem to have the availability to query the results outside the main search loop: https://www.relevanssi.com/user-manual/using-relevanssi-outside-search-pages/

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, that customisation is beyond our scope of support as it is more work than a small customisation.

While we’d love to be able to support every customisation request, we simply don’t have the time. We recommend that you seek a freelance developer if you need to make that customisation.
