Adjusting spacing between Search icon and drop-down search term entry field

I successfully used the following code from previous post to adjust spacing between Menu/Submenu items:

.std-menu .sub-menu, .mega-sub-menu {
margin-top: -20px;
}

But it also crunched the spacing between my Search icon and drop-down search term entry field.

Is there a way to control the spacing between my Search icon and drop-down search term entry field separately?

We can’t see the attachments, try to share them with dropbox or a similar service.

Without seeing it online is always difficult, try this software it’s really interesting and it has a option to share the local site url.

Thanks, David — I’ll make the switch to Flywheel (thanks fro reco) so I can share with you — just looking to have top of Search entry field align with top of Subnav drop-downs — the code I found in a previous post to adjust Subnav position was great because I could play with the spacing — thanks again and more soon

In Local by Flywheel, you need to go to the utilities tab and enabled the demo option, that link it’s always different each time you press the button.
