Adjust Logo Size and Alignment

Hello,

I seen other related topics to this but due to the answers being private I couldn’t find the solution to these issues..

1) I want to make my logo bigger so that I am able to read the text in the logo under my name. I’ve tried inputting custom CSS to the Theme options and nothing seems to be affecting the scale unless I type actual numeric px. I want it to still be responsive of course, just want to increase the base size/scale of logo.

2) Also, I am wanting to adjust the margin of the header elements (navigation menu and logo) so they remain consistent when I scale the browser window to full-screen on a desktop verse half-screen. When the browser is expanded into full-screen, the header elements maintain the margin between each other, but, the margin between the elements and each side of browser window stop responding after a certain point. The two elements land just off center in an expanded window. I want to be able adjust where they land on an expanded browser window

I am trying to have the same done (i think). Basically I want to have a giant logo in the centre of the header. 700 x 220.

Where exactly does the custom css go? and what would be the proper dimensions in the code?

}

But it makes the links on the right drop below
