Add google+ to portfolio page

Hello.

Is there a way to add google plus to the social links on the portfolio page ( or project view). When you click on a thumbnail it brings the project up with a tweet button and Facebook. Just wondering if I can add google plus in there. Thanks for your time and help with this issue.

And also is it possible to get rid of the date?
