I’ve set my images to background-fit: contain via the slide editor and I’m wondering if there is anyway to add a background color to the slide so it fills the whole slider container.

Hi

Unfortunately not. What I recommend is using a color for your background, and then adding the image as a layer on top, this will achieve the same effect
