I am writing in regards to a previous forum topic to add back the wishlist to my site. David was looking for my user/pass and I was not sure how to provide that information in a secure way without starting a new topic with my details.

As stated in the previous thread, I have been able to remove the “add to cart” and “cart” functions from my site but by doing so, the “Add to Wishlist” button on the product tiles have also been removed. How do I add ONLY the “add to wishlist” button to each product tile on the shop page?

    Best,
    Rachel Deters

    Hi Kyle,

The Wishlist is now visible on the detailed product pages, but it is not yet visible on the Product Tiles located on the Shop Page. (see screen shot attached).

    Thanks!

    Hi

In Theme Options > Shop Options you need to enable the shop actions (add to cart, wishlist etc)

    Hello Kyle,

The Add to Cart and Wishlist are activated in Shop Options. However, as explained in a previous forum thread I commented out a section in my child theme to remove any verbiage or buttons relating to the “Add to Cart”. By doing so, the Cart Wishlist has also been removed. David was working on this issue before but asked for my user/pass which is why I started a new thread (as I didn’t want to provide that information publically) and also updated the theme version. To further resolve the issue, the background story lies in forum #235778.

    Thanks!
    Rachel

I also just realized that someone also removed my “buy product” button on the product pages and replaced it with the wishlist button. I want to keep the buy button as it links to the affiliate website.

You said “However, as explained in a previous forum thread I commented out a section in my child theme to remove any verbiage or buttons relating to the “Add to Cart””

That’s why the button does not show. You need to uncomment that code so that buy button reappears. Your products should be set as external products to link to another website
