Add an extra menu item with icon to the menu cart/wishlist in the header

Hi,

Is there a way to add an extra menu item with icon and slide out to the menu cart/wish list in the header?
I have installed a plugin from Yith “Woocommerce add to quote”. I would like to have the quote request page added in the header the same way as the cart/wish list are.
Can you pinpoint where to search in the files to add it or would it be possible by code in my child themes functions.php?

I saw that you already have a button there for the quote.
What changes on top of that you want to do? Any mockup image?

I would like it to be right next to the cart and wish list (in the same menu) and have the same type of slide out with a standard text “view your quote items here” linking to the quote request page.

Pointing me in the right direction would be great…
Having that ‘quote’ icon as a link with drop down is what I want, yes. If possible right next to the other two items.

To be exact not really changes, only a short code in the theme options – header options – header right text config. 🙂

Hey,

If you use this plugin, you can can output a widget with a shortcode in that area.

Create a new menu with the dropdown you require, then add the shortcode to that area.

Unfortunately the plugin didn’t work for me.

I’ve solved the problem as follows:

This works only on a normal screen, not for mobile and tabled screens, but that’s okay.
