    Hi,

I’m looking to add a fake “team member” to the end of our team carousel on the home page that says “view all” and leads to the team page where we will show the whole team. This way we can set a lower number of team members to show on the homepage – it’s taking too log for all the team members to load into the carousel (too many http requests).

So what I need to do is find the loop that creates the team member elements inside the team spb_content_element. Then I was hoping I could copy and past one just outside the loop. This way it would always be at the end of the carousel, even if we choose to sort the team members randomly.

Am I oversimplifying this mod? Where would I find the php file with the team member carousel and team member content element?

If it sounds doable or if you have any ideas of how to do this differently let me know!
    Thanks!
    Tim

    Hi,

Why don’t you limit the number of items, and create a specific category with only a couple team members.

Yeah, I’ve already done that. But I’d like to have a call-to-action at the end that directs people to see the whole team. In limiting how many members are shown we are leaving lots of members out. Having a “view more” profile at the end will feel more like a fluid transition to see the whole team – and it won’t look like we just picked our favorite team members…

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

    Hi

Either add a button below the carousel to view more, or create the team member to ‘view more’ and use a redirect plugin to redirect that team member page to a normal page with the team member asset added

Got it! Thanks for your feedback. I just created a 301 redirect in my htaccess file and it worked great!
