    Hey Swiftideas,

    I know that you guys are so much busy. I am really sorry for disturbing you guys but I have 2 small queries to ask.

    My site: http://www.tricky-photoshop.com

    After updating the Flexform to the latest version, I am facing two problems.

    1: In my navigation panel, Search bar is not working properly.

    2: My “Drop down navigation panel” seems to be malfunctioning. Whenever someone scrolls down my website, my website shows them two logos. After a quick search, I came to know that I need to turn my “drop down panel” off to fix it, however, I do not want to do that. Currently I have turned off the “drop down” feature so you may not see two logos, but I am sure that you must be aware of this issue because this query has been asked several time on this support forum.

    Thanks in advance

    Kind Regards,
    Vaibhav Sharan

    I am experiencing both problems as well. In the search bar, clicking on the magnifying glass does not expand the search bar. The double logos is because it is improperly displaying both the standard logo and the retina logo.

    I wish I knew how to fix them, but they are above my skill level.

    Hi,

    @vibhu00

    1) your logo and menu are too wide to also accommodate for the expanding search bar. If you want, you can have that search on a new line, under the Home menu item, by using this custom CSS:

    .logo-right #nav-search {
        clear: both;
    }

    2) There are loads of plugins active on your site – can you confirm that it’s not a plugin conflict? (disable them all and test)

    @fumblepigskin
    – can I see your site? The search not expanding might be because of a jQuery errror, need to check.

    Regards,

    Hi Cosmin,

    I do not have the upgrade pushed live. I observed the issues in my test environment after I upgraded to the newest version of WP and then to the newest version of flexform. I have not pushed it live.

    If it helps, my site is federal accounting

    I have a number of plugins on my site too. I’ll try disabling them in test to see if that helps. However, if you see anything, please let me know!

    Cheers.

    If it started acting funky after updating WP and the theme, it’s very possible that something changed in jQuery (they updated bits of it in the latest 3.6.1)

    I see it’s working fine in your 3.5.2 – if you have a test link, you can reply in private and I’ll try to find out where the issue is.

    Fixed.
    I have no idea what was happening, but it appears to be working now. I saw in firebug that on the live site, the following CSS from style.css was not passing to the page elements. I inspected the code via firebug, and it looked like it was an old version of the file that was being stubborn in the update process.

    I made sure the server had the proper style.css file and now it seems to be working.

    ‘#logo img.retina, #mini-logo img.retina {
    display: none;
    max-width: 100%;
    }`
