    Hello
    i have 3 issues with client

    1) i dont understand when i insert a new client how i can flag it for “featured client” or not
    all new client i insert are not featured…

    2) the client featured asset is not centered in the page http://www.confimiravenna.it/w/

    3) i need more than 5 client on the page so i used this topic http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/client-featured/ for help and it works
    the only problem is if i copy this flexform/includes/page-builder/composer/lib/shortcodes/clients.php in my child page it doesnt work anymore.

    pls let me know

    Hi,

    1) Featured Clients is a separate Page Builder element, there is nothing to flag.

    2) That’s how the theme is designed, you haven’t added the title to the element.

    3) To have that work in a child theme, you’d need to port over the entire framework of the Page Builder.

    Ed, any reason why porting the whole framework folder would stop the featured clients element from working in a child theme?

    It doesnt work mean that if i edit this file:
    flexform/includes/page-builder/composer/lib/shortcodes/clients.php
    On line 196: ‘posts_per_page’ => 5 and i change it with ‘posts_per_page’ => 8 it WORKS without any problem (i see 8 client)

    if i copy all includes/page-builder/composer/lib/shortcodes/clients.php in my child.theme and i edit the line 196 ‘posts_per_page’ => 5 and i change it with ‘posts_per_page’ => 8 it DOESNT WORK (i see 5 client)

    Did you make the change to point the parent theme to load the child theme version of the page builder though?

    i dont understand,
    i just copied all page-builder directory in my child theme.
    like Cosmin said to do earlier.
    i dont understand what you mean when you say “the change to point the parent theme to load the child theme version of the page builder”

    i can give you access if you want to check
    i really dont understand what is the problem, i have never had problem with child themes.

    In the parent theme functions.php you need to change line 30 to be:

    include(get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/includes/page-builder/js_composer.php');

    You would need to copy across all the page builder files to your child theme if you wanted to do this.
