    I’m trying to shrink the #top-bar, specifically get rid of the padding so that it’s a thin green line, just large enough for the text. I tried changing the height value, but when you shrink the browsers width the text drops below the header.

    How can I remove the padding for the #top-bar?

    Thank you in advance,

    Marc

    I changed the top bar font size to 100% and it seems to have fixed the problem. I still have the height set to 34px.

    For the padding you can use this:

    #top-bar {
      padding: 5px 0;
    }
