    I have just updated to the latest version of Dante. Immediately after updating and going to another page, I have come across the white screen of death. I can’t see my website and I can’t login to wp-admin either due to this problem.

    Please help. It is important that our website works ASAP.

    Hi,

    We don’t have a FTP. Are there any alternatives? If not, how do I get a FTP?

    You should get this information from your hosts, they may even fix the problem for you. Also check your error logs on your server to see if you can identify what the issue is

    We are trying our best to get the website back up. I’ll reply later if it does eventually work again with what we have done to fix it. Our technical lead has managed to access the wp-admin but the website is still showing the white screen of death.

    Our technical lead used SSH instead of FTP and put in the zip file you sent to us to fix it. Now it works fine and our website is back live. There weren’t any problems with the plugins so it must have been the theme.

    We are happy to use the Dante version you gave us and we love the design but every time we update, we always encounter one problem or another when we do. Before sending out an update, we suggest you double/triple check it to ensure that it won’t cause major problems for your users.

    I understand what you are saying, and we do thoroughly check the updates, all of our staff managed to update to 2.63 with no issues, so it must be something specific to your install

    Actually I also encountered white screen of death after I upgraded to 2.63 after your staff suggested me doing so to fix another issue….

    I am trying to revert my website backup from yesterday… it’s very frustrating 🙁

    I just purchased the Neighborhood theme and immediately after installing it through WP it showed the white screen of death. We changed the theme name via FTP server into “neighborhoodold” and now I got my WP admin back. Hope it’ll work. Will keep you posted.

    OK, it worked and what I did next is deactivate some plugins and then I changed the themename back again to “Neihgborhood” and now it seems to be working fine.
