hi, i tried moving custom css from Cardinal Theme Options to /cardinal-child/style.css, but it created a lot of formatting errors.

any idea why the custom css does not work in /cardianl-child/style.css?

    Hi

Some things may need an !important to overwrite the dynamic css, for e.g. colors, fonts and sizes etc. This is because the user custom styles from the theme options are outputted last, so they overwrite everything loaded before them, where as the child theme style.css file is loaded before the dynamic css

Ok thx, how do I edit the responsive css. It seams swift-slider.css is overriding the !important. It must be a JS plugin that is resizing the type. How do I control the responsive type sizes.

    Thx again

    Hi,

You don’t need to change directly the responsive.css
You place the necessary changes in the child theme style.css

just override the rule you want to change and use the !important has advised before.
If you have a specific example that you need help let us know.
