    hello,
    we, the users are now waiting a long time for an update. I just want to know if we can count on the further development of flexform?

    Hi

    We will always continue to maintain and improve Flexform, as we do with all of our themes. However we have released 3 themes since Flexform, so if you are looking for new features and a more powerful theme, you would have to upgrade to one of the newer themes.

    We will continue to maintain Flexform, for e.g. make changes that are required to stay compatible with WordPress and certain plugins. We will also add anything that we believe should have been included with Flexform that we previously missed.

    However, for brand new features that we have just developed, it is very unlikely that we will add these in Flexform, nor Neighbourhood. We can’t include all the same features as Dante and Cardinal, because if we did then there would be no improvement or variety with our themes.

    We are starting a training centres in the UK & Europe, providing training (wordpress, joomla and drupal) and support for commercial clients to develop sites using the above CMS in combination with select premium themes.

    We were hoping to include/recommend themes from Swift Themes, however i am a bit concerned if the continuous development is not consistent and long term.

    We appreciate that, however you need to understand that this is our business, and in order to keep our business running we must release new themes which have better features and more functionality, so that there is variety within our themes.

    I appreciate that kyle, and its reasonable. Have you set a minimum time frame for updates and feature additions for each theme? Any themes/theme developers we will be recommending will need to guarantee that a theme will have a minimum of 2-3 years of updates.

    Hi @Imrul,

    We’ll always ensure compatibility for as long as we sell the theme, and will provide updates when needed. New feature additions depend on requests and popularity, but we are keeping Flexform updated.

    Hi Ed,
    I understand the situation and appreciate it. We have a heavily modified theme so switching to another, new theme made by swift is no option I think. Did you think about a kind of paid update? A Flexform 2.0 with all the new features used by the other themes, but in Flexform design, classes, etc? Does Themeforest allow this?
    For me it’s definitely not a problem at all to pay for an update that has got new features and is well maintained.

    Hi

    I’m afraid that’s not an option for us, we simply don’t have the time as we are working on our latest theme and also keeping on top of support. To add all of Cardinal’s features to Flexform would mean a complete restructure and a bunch of recoding, it’s just not really possible, especially when you say you have ‘heavily modified’ the theme
