    Hi There. Doing some tweaking to Dante’s portfolio hover state and getting stuck on one adjustment.

    As you can see here: http://tornadodesign.la/dev/work/

    I’ve taken out the crease.svg background image as well as the icon.

    What I’d like to do now is make an adjustment so that I can see a little bit more of the thumbnail image.

    I did find the way to reduce the opacity of figcaption on hover, but that also reduces the opacity of the h4 that it contains. Can’t have that. So I guess my question is, how can I reduce the opacity of figcaption’s background on hover (but leave the h4 at full opacity)?

    Thank you so much.

    Clarification:

    What I’d like to do now is make an adjustment so that (in the on hover state) I can see a little bit more of the thumbnail image.

    Hi,
    I see that you managed to resolve the some issue. Please use this custom css code:-

    figure.animated-overlay figcaption {
        background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5) !important;
    }

    Thanks 🙂
    With Best Regards
