Hi There,
I’m having a problem with the swift pagebuilder tabs feature.* On a single page I am displaying multiple tabbed content areas.
* Each of these tabbed content areas have the same naming convention for the individual tabs (IE: about, opening hours, contacts). The Problem:
You can’t have a consistent naming convention for the individual tabs on multiple tabbed content areas on the same page? It basically breaks the functionality (IE individual tabs start opening tabbed content on different tabbed content areas?). Its fine if the multiple tabbed content areas have different tab names.I sincerely hope this is a known bug and not an oversight of the dante development team. Consistent naming conventions are a standard heuristic in webdesign.
The fix
I would be very grateful if you can provide me with a fix for this problem as I have to list about 20 items on the same page with exactly the same tab naming conventions for the individual tabbed content areas. I am happy to edit the raw theme files. Many thanks in advance for your time ๐
July 24, 2014 at 9:40 am #94324Hi
Unfortunately it’s not possible, the tabs use links, for e.g. the tab ‘about’ will have the link:
http://yourdomain.com/thepage/#about
If you have multiple tabs with the same name, they will have the same link, that’s why they both open at the same time

July 24, 2014 at 9:20 pm #94552Ok,
bit disappointing now but good news for the update ๐ I’ll just have to go with a different naming convention that solves the problem.Q) When would the next update release be available?
Thanks for your time ๐
July 24, 2014 at 9:33 pm #94556Disappointing? Honestly we’ve not had a single person request this in over 20000 uses. Won’t take us long to fix, and I’ll even provide for you before we send it out – as soon as it’s done.

July 26, 2014 at 3:53 am #94845@dekkydog – just pushed an update that fixes this. All you need to do is go through the page and edit + save each tab title from the first asset. This will config the ID’s to be unique.
Hope that helps.
