  Is it possible to change the /blog to /news in the URL on blog categories, eg:

  mydomain.com/blog/category/industry-news/
  to
  mydomain.com/news/category/industry-news/

  Hi Kyle, that works fine for links on my main navigation and my news page is at http://www.mydomain.com/news but when I use the news categories widget in the sidebar to navigate to individual news categories it inserts ‘blog’ into the URL, ie becomes http://www.mydomain.com/blog/news/category

  For some reason you have ‘blog’ in the default permalink settings, which is unusual. Do you know how this might have happened? (see screenshot)

  Hi Kyle, just managed to work it out. It was because I am using a multisite WP install.
