There is a gray bar that randomly appears above the navigation header on my website. There is no rhyme or reason for it, but sometimes when you click through to a different page, it loads a gray bar above the navigation header. Sometimes it doesn’t. As you can see in the screenshot, its the same page, but one has a gray bar above the navigation header.
Looks like a blank string is being output from somewhere. My first guess would be something cached.. Do you have any caching plugins enabled? I’ve refreshed a few times but can’t replicate here.
Thanks, that is kind of a workaround which helps, but it doens’t actually solve WHY it is occurring. It stil occurs, but now its white so it’s not as noticeable, however, I would like to figure out how to prevent it from occurring because it makes the navigation header look like it’s different height sizes depending on which page you are on. What is the solution?
I have commented out Moahammad’s CSS. The issue occurs on every page, randomly. It happens while using Chrome and Firefox… I am on a mac so I can’t test on IE. If you keep refreshing any page, bar will randomly appear. It also happens if you click on any page in the navigation header, randomly of course. Please let me know your solution.
Well that’s your choice, the plugin is causing the space, and I can’t work out why. But as it is a 3rd party plugin we can’t spend too much time trying to work it out as it is specific to your needs
